Zachariah's Broken Arm

Shortly after Nathanael's "first" cereal, Zachariah had to keep up with a "first" for him- a broken arm! He was playing on the monkey bars & took a fall. We didn't take him to the Dr. right away (it was Friday night of Memorial Day weekend). He slept on it for a night and was incredibly sore the next morning and could not lift it. So, Daddy took him the Dr. who told him to get an X-Ray. He has two breaks in his forearm. Here he is in his temporary cast. He will get a new one at the beginning of the work week.

Another First for Nathanael

Nathanael experienced his first cereal and sitting in his highchair (actually- it was PePaw's highchair from a long time ago) at 5 1/2 months! The first few bites went okay- more came out of his mouth than went in. After a few more bits, he got it and was opening up for more! Here is a short video with eating help from big brother:

The Graduate

Zachariah celebrated his first year of school with a preschool graduation & playground day at the park. He loved playschool & met fun friends. For graduation, they made their own hat! Here he is with his friend, Nikolas!

Birthday "T's"

Todd celebrated his birthday on May 17th- he had a fun weekend to the "T"! We enjoyed dinner at The Melting Pot, homemade icecream and a Tres Leches cake with friends. Grandpa Jimmy & Aunt Julie also came in from Texas. Julie will be living with us for the summer. Todd got 6 t-shirts for his birthday- all from different places!

Spring Visitors

We enjoyed having Gran Fran, Ralph, Grandmommy & PePaw here for the Spring festivities. Each trip brought new memories & day excursions to see the area- Saugatuak, Tulip time festivities, Holland State Park, etc... One of my favorite things to do was drive Tulip lane- about 6-8 miles of planted tulips in the city. One particular street was also in full bloom with pink & white trees. The boys are enjoying here w/ one set of Grandparents!

PandaBEAR Picnic

Zachariah had fun getting ready for his preschool Panda BEAR Picnic this week. He PROUDLY took his Panda Bear Puppet, hat & t-shirt that his Grandmommy & PePaw brought from Beijing China.

Millions of Tulips

We are officially blown away by all of the tulips for Holland's Annual Tulip Festival. It is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. There are too many favorites, so look here for more:

Visit from KZoo Friends

Katie, Big Zach, Elise & Emerson came for a visit to Holland in late April. We enjoyed a few sights of Holland before the annual Tulip festival. It was there first time to meet Nathanael. Zachariah & Elise had fun playing at the Windmill & in the tulips. For more Spring pictures, see this link:
